Black Salt Games is a nimble, independent four-person gaming company based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. Its first project, the gothic fishing game Dredge, won ‘Game of the Year’ at the 2023 SXSW Sydney Game Awards and secured a 95 percent positive review rating on digital storefront Steam within a week of its release,
